On September 18, we brought together an extraordinary group of diverse young entrepreneurs from across the country to spend the day with us at Parliament Hill in Ottawa. We did this to celebrate the resilience and success of Futurpreneur-supported entrepreneurs across Canada amid Parliament\u2019s return for the fall session. Our Hill Day culminated with the ‘Welcome Back to Ottawa’ Reception where members of Parliament (MPs), government representatives, partners and staff connected with our Futurpreneurs. The evening was a testament to the vibrancy of Canada’s entrepreneurial spirit and the impact of Futurpreneurs in their communities across the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meeting Trailblazing Futurpreneurs<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Our day began with an opportunity for our young entrepreneurs to connect with our team, including Futurpreneur senior leadership\u2014 exchanging insights and engaging with each other. Energized by these conversations, everyone embarked on a journey to the tour of Parliament that included a 360\u00b0 multimedia exhibit offering a glimpse of the sections of the building currently under renovation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Parliament’s Shoutout to Futurpreneur<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

One of the<\/span> highlight<\/span>s<\/span> of <\/span>our Hill Day<\/span> experience<\/span> was <\/span>our<\/span> visit to <\/span>the House of Commons <\/span>for Question Period<\/span>. It was here that <\/span><\/span>MP Darren Fisher<\/span><\/span><\/a> gave a<\/span> heartfelt<\/span> shoutout to <\/span>Futurpreneur<\/span>, emphasizing our vital role<\/span> in supporting young entrepreneurs<\/span> and<\/span> recognizing<\/span> the profound influence <\/span>we\u2019ve<\/span> had <\/span>on <\/span>fostering inclusive<\/span> economic<\/span> prosperity<\/span> across Canada<\/span>.<\/span> We <\/span>were honoured to be recognized<\/span> by MP Fisher as well as <\/span>many of our <\/span>elected officials who work tire<\/span>lessly with us to <\/span>make a positive impact<\/span> in our communities<\/span>.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

MP Fisher also recognized one of our Futurpreneurs based in his riding: Nicholas LaValle, the founder of Clean Valley CIC<\/a>. His innovative work in clean technology and biofiltration earned him well-deserved recognition from those in attendance in the House.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
