Before every annual G20 Leaders\u2019 Summit, the G20 YEA brings together hundreds of the world\u2019s top young entrepreneurs to advance youth entrepreneurship as a driver of economic growth,\u00a0<\/span>innovation<\/span>\u00a0and social change.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

As COVID-19 continues to have a massive impact on the global economy, this year’s summit will be geared toward fostering entrepreneurship as a vital part of the world’s financial recovery.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The pandemic also means that this year’s summit is going virtual – i<\/span><\/span>nstead of traveling to the host destination<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span>in<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span>Riyadh, Saudi Arabia,\u00a0<\/span><\/span>delegations will\u00a0<\/span><\/span>participate<\/span><\/span>\u00a0in the summit remotely<\/span><\/span>.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span>T<\/span><\/span>hrough an\u00a0<\/span><\/span>innovative virtual platform,<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span>delegates<\/span><\/span>\u00a0will be able to navigate the virtual conference with their own avatar<\/span><\/span>, alongside 500-plus young entrepreneurs and entrepreneurial leaders from across the G20 countries.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

G20 YEA delegate Cassandra Pichette.<\/p><\/div>\n

Cassandra Pichette is a three-time delegate who took part in the 2016 summit in Beijing, the 2018 edition in Buenos Aires and the 2019 edition in Fukuoka, Japan.<\/p>\n

“Meeting many people from different fields, backgrounds and living in different parts of the world brought insights and learning that I could not have found elsewhere,” Pichette said.<\/p>\n

“For the first time in my life, I was surrounded by entrepreneurial spirits like mine, instilling me with more energy and passion to continue to achieve my biggest goals and never give up!”<\/p>\n

Though this year’s summit will be held remotely, the G20\u00a0YEA will still offer ample opportunities for learning and networking. This year’s summit activities will include:<\/p>\n
