We will continue to update these resources with new information as it becomes available.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"#financial-support\">Financial Support to Businesses and Workers<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"#capital-small\">Access to Capital for Small Businesses<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"#business-development\">Business Development Bank Resources<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"#government-tools\">Government Tools and Resources<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"#digital-marketing\">Digital Marketing and eCommerce<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"#supply-chain\">Supply Chain Management<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"#covid-faqs\">COVID-19 &#8211; FAQs<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"#regional-support\">Regional Support Programs<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><strong>Government of Canada &#8211; Overview of COVID-19 Economic Support<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.canada.ca\/en\/department-finance\/economic-response-plan.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Canada\u2019s COVID-19 Economic Response Plan<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"financial-support\"><strong>Financial Support for Businesses and Workers<\/strong><\/h2>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.canada.ca\/en\/department-finance\/economic-response-plan\/wage-subsidy.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Canada Emergency Wage Subsidy<\/a> (CEWS)<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Covers up to 75 per cent (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.canada.ca\/en\/department-finance\/news\/2020\/12\/government-announces-wage-subsidy-rate-increase-to-75-per-cent.html\">as of December 2020<\/a>) of an employee\u2019s wages for qualifying employers. Note that benefit amounts vary depending on which time period you are applying for.<\/li>\n<li>Available retroactive to March 2020; available until June 2021<\/li>\n<li>In November 2020, the federal government <a href=\"https:\/\/www.canada.ca\/en\/revenue-agency\/services\/subsidy\/emergency-wage-subsidy\/cews-what-changes.html\">announced a number of changes to the program<\/a> designed to make it more accessible.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 id=\"wb-cont\" class=\"provisional gc-thickline\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.canada.ca\/en\/revenue-agency\/services\/benefits\/recovery-benefit.html\">Canada Recovery Benefit<\/a> (CRB)<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Provides $1,000 ($900 after taxes) per two-week period\u00a0to employed and self-employed individuals not entitled to EI benefits.<\/li>\n<li>Administered by the Canada Revenue Agency<\/li>\n<li>Replaced the previously-announced Canada Emergency Response Benefit (CERB)<\/li>\n<li>Recipients must reapply for each period, and can apply for up to a total of 13 two-week periods (or 26\u00a0weeks) between\u00a0<span class=\"nowrap\">September\u00a027,\u00a02020<\/span>\u00a0and\u00a0<span class=\"nowrap\">September\u00a025,\u00a02021<\/span>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/ceba-cuec.ca\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Canada Emergency Business Account<\/a> (CEBA)<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Provides small businesses and not-for-profits with interest-free loans of up to $40,000 to help cover operating costs. (In October 2020, the federal government <a href=\"https:\/\/www.canada.ca\/en\/department-finance\/news\/2020\/10\/government-announces-new-targeted-support-to-help-businesses-through-pandemic.html\">announced plans to increase this amount<\/a> to $60,000.)<\/li>\n<li>Repaying the balance of the loan on or before December 31, 2022 will result in loan forgiveness of 25 percent (up to $10,000).<\/li>\n<li>Businesses must have paid total employment income of between $20,000 to $1.5 million in 2019.<\/li>\n<li>As of October 2020, eligible businesses operating through a personal bank account will also be able to apply.<\/li>\n<li>Deadline to apply is\u00a0March 31, 2021.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Businesses must apply through their current financial institution:\u00a0<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.rbc.com\/covid-19\/business.html?utm_source=vanity&amp;utm_medium=direct&amp;utm_campaign=bfs_covid_businessrelief_vanity_url\">RBC<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.td.com\/ca\/en\/personal-banking\/covid-19\/small-business-relief\/\">TD Bank<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cibc.com\/en\/business\/advice-centre\/covid-19.html#governmentrelief\">CIBC<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.scotiabank.com\/ca\/en\/personal\/scotia-support\/latest-updates\/coronavirus-covid-19\/business-banking.html\">Scotiabank<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bmo.com\/small-business\/financial-relief-loc\/#\/login?PID=MBLBC&amp;language=en\">BMO<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbc.ca\/business\/important-notices\/emergency-account.html\">National Bank<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.desjardins.com\/ca\/covid-19\/business-relief-measures\/\">Desjardins<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.canada.ca\/en\/revenue-agency\/services\/subsidy\/emergency-rent-subsidy\/cers-expenses-claim.html\">Canada Emergency Rent Subsidy<\/a> (CERS)<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Available to eligible businesses,\u00a0non-profits\u00a0or\u00a0charities\u00a0who have seen a drop in revenue due to the\u00a0pandemic<\/li>\n<li>Directly available subsidy meant to help cover commercial rent or property expenses<\/li>\n<li>Eligible expenses can be claimed up to a max of\u00a0$75,000 per business location or\u00a0$300,000 for all locations<\/li>\n<li>Benefits available retroactive to September\u00a027,\u00a02020 and will extend until June\u00a02021.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>Regional Development Agencies\u202f(RDAs)<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ic.gc.ca\/eic\/site\/icgc.nsf\/eng\/07677.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Regional Development Agencies<\/a> provide federal funding for tourism operators, small businesses or organizations.<\/li>\n<li>The\u00a0<b><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ic.gc.ca\/eic\/site\/icgc.nsf\/eng\/h_07682.html\">Regional Relief and Recovery Fund<\/a><\/b>\u00a0(RRRF),\u00a0implemented by the six regional development agencies in collaboration with the national network of Community Futures Development Corporations, supports businesses that are unable to access other government relief measures. For details, see the region closest to you:\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.canada.ca\/en\/atlantic-canada-opportunities\/campaigns\/covid19\/rrrf.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Atlantic Canada<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/dec.canada.ca\/eng\/targeted-support\/rrrf\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Canada Economic Development for Quebec Regions<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/fednor.gc.ca\/eic\/site\/fednor-fednor.nsf\/eng\/fn04592.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Regional economy stream in Northern Ontario<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.feddevontario.gc.ca\/eic\/site\/723.nsf\/eng\/02583.html?OpenDocument\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">FedDev Ontario (Southern Ontario)<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.wd-deo.gc.ca\/eng\/20060.asp\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Western Economic Diversification Canada (WD)<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cannor.gc.ca\/eng\/1587153226618\/1587153246025\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Northern Business Relief Fund (NBRF)<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><a href=\"https:\/\/www.canada.ca\/en\/employment-social-development\/services\/work-sharing\/notice-covid-19.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Work-Sharing Program <\/strong><\/a><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Helps employers avoid layoffs when there is a temporary decrease in business activity beyond their control.<\/li>\n<li>Provides Employment Insurance benefits to eligible employees who agree to reduce their normal working hours and share the available work while their employer recovers.<\/li>\n<li>A WS agreement has to be at least 6 consecutive weeks long and can last up to 26\u00a0consecutive weeks. Employers may be able to extend their agreements up to a total of 76 weeks.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"capital-small\"><strong>Access to Capital for Small Businesses<\/strong><\/h2>\n<h3><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.edc.ca\/en\/solutions\/working-capital\/bcap-guarantee.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Business Credit Availability Program<\/a>\u00a0(BCAP)<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Increases the credit available to small, medium and large Canadian businesses.<\/li>\n<li>Businesses must have been generating revenues for at least 24 months.<\/li>\n<li>Businesses must work with their existing financial institution to access it.<\/li>\n<li>If their needs exceed the level of support the financial institution is able to provide, the financial institution will work alongside <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bdc.ca\/en\/pages\/special-support.aspx?special-initiative=covid19\">BDC<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/www.edc.ca\/en\/campaign\/coronavirus-covid-19.html\">EDC<\/a> to access additional resources available under BCAP.<\/li>\n<li>Through BCAP, BDC and EDC will provide more than $65 billion in loans and other forms of credit at market rates to businesses with viable business models.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.fcc-fac.ca\/en\/covid-19.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Farm Credit Canada<\/a> (FCC)<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Provides additional financing for farmers, agribusinesses and food processors.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bdc.ca\/en\/financing\/business-loans\/pages\/purchase-order-financing.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Purchase Order Financing<\/strong><\/a><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Cover up to 90% of the purchase order amount to ease cash flow to your suppliers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ic.gc.ca\/eic\/site\/csbfp-pfpec.nsf\/eng\/home\">Canada Small Business Financing Program<\/a><\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Easier access to loans for small businesses from financial institutions by sharing the risk with lender<\/li>\n<li>Up to a maximum of $1,000,000 for any one borrower<\/li>\n<li>financial institutions deliver the program and are solely responsible for approving the loan<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 id=\"business-development\"><strong>Business Development Bank of Canada (BDC) Resources<\/strong><\/h2>\n<h3><a
