According to Matthews, successful branding is as simple (or as complicated) as that. It\u2019s not a matter of personal choice; it\u2019s how people view your brand. Therefore, it\u2019s important that when building your brand, you follow Matthews\u2019 rules: consistency, management and time.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0Be consistent with your messaging. You won\u2019t build trust or loyalty in your brand if you\u2019re constantly changing it.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0As the owner of your company, you are responsible for the management of your brand. If you don\u2019t understand it and communicate it effectively, you can\u2019t expect your employees to do so either.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0Finally, give it time.
