TORONTO (October 30, 2017) \u2013<\/strong> After two weeks of public voting, Futurpreneur Canada<\/strong><\/a> concluded Small Business Week<\/a> by announcing the winners of the Futurpreneur Canada 2017 Awards. This year\u2019s winners have made significant contributions to Canada\u2019s entrepreneurial community through their leadership, grit, innovation, growth and mentorship. Their stories of success, struggle and determination are motivating for all aspiring small business owners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When describing her proudest moment as a business owner, the Futurpreneur Entrepreneur of the Year described how entrepreneurship always challenges her comfort zone. \u201cIt\u2019s been an exponential journey,\u201d said Natasha Wilch, owner of <\/strong>Symphony Rehabilitation<\/strong><\/a>.<\/strong> \u201cI think I\u2019m most proud of the fact that I did not let fear take me over. When I expanded my clinic, I continued to stay true to the purpose of expansion and stay true to the team I wanted to build.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sheena Brady, 2017 Growing Strong Award winner, is dedicated to growing a loyal tribe around the world. \u201cIf it wasn\u2019t without Futurpreneur Canada, we wouldn\u2019t be able to grow into new markets and expand in the first place\u201d, said Sheena Brady, owner of <\/strong>Tease Tea<\/strong><\/a>. <\/strong>\u201cNow we can continue to do our life\u2019s work helping to support organizations dedicated to women\u2019s empowerment, one sip at a time  . . . on just a bigger scale now!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
