Samantha Stuart<\/strong> of Samantha Stuart Photography<\/strong><\/a> in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories, credits a workshop that Futurpreneur presented with the Northwest Territories Business Development and Investment Corporation<\/strong><\/a> (BDIC) with having given her the skills and confidence she needed to triple her sales and apply for Futurpreneur\u2019s Start-up Program, where she has become the 10,000th<\/sup> entrepreneur to receive Futurpreneur financing and mentoring.<\/p>\n\n\n\n With Futurpreneur\u2019s support, 10,000 Canadian entrepreneurs have launched more than 8,000 new businesses, creating over 39,000 jobs and contributing more than $244 million in tax revenue. Having worked with more young entrepreneurs than any other Canadian non-profit organization, Futurpreneur provides resources to entrepreneurs in every industry and in every part of the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cEveryone at Futurpreneur is thrilled to have supported more than 10,000 entrepreneurs through our Start-up Program,\u201d said Julia Deans, CEO of Futurpreneur Canada<\/strong>. \u201cHitting this milestone was only possible with the support of many national and local partners including the Government of Canada and the Northwest Territories Business Development and Investment Corporation.
