Young Canadian business leaders to promote entrepreneurship at G20 Young Entrepreneurs\u2019 Alliance Summit in Istanbul<\/p>\n\n\n\n
TORONTO \u2013 (August 1, 2015) \u2013<\/strong> Following a cross-country call for applications, Futurpreneur Canada<\/a> announced the names of the 22 young entrepreneurs who will form the official Canadian delegation at the G20 Young Entrepreneurs\u2019 Alliance (G20 YEA) Summit<\/a> in Istanbul, Turkey this fall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n These internationally-minded young Canadian entrepreneurs will convene with dedicated and influential entrepreneurs, knowledge partners and leaders from the G20 countries to identify the ways that governments and business communities can best harness the potential of young entrepreneurs, while also driving public policy, raising awareness and providing a voice for young entrepreneurs around the globe. The resulting recommendations will then be officially handed to the G20 leaders in the form of a communiqu\u00e9 following the Summit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The G20 YEA Summit will be hosted by the Young Businessperson Association of Turkey (TUGIAD) from September 7 and 9, 2015.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The following entrepreneurs will be representing Canada in Istanbul:<\/p>\n\n\n\n Delegates will be accompanied by the following members of the Futurpreneur Canada team:<\/p>\n\n\n\n Futurpreneur Canada hosted the inaugural G20 YEA Summit in Toronto in June 2010, inviting 200 young entrepreneurs and the organizations that represent them from the G20 countries to participate in the development of a communiqu\u00e9 delivered to the G20 leaders.
