Saskatoon, SK, April 5, 2013 \u2013<\/strong> The Canadian Youth Business Foundation (CYBF) is pleased to announce the business launch of OneStory. CYBF entrepreneurs Katrina German and Dale Zak from OneStory have officially arrived in Saskatoon and will be celebrating the launch of their business and new mobile app this evening from 7:00-9:00p.m. at 220 20th<\/sup> Street West.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Everyone has a story: a love story, an inspirational story, a story about loss. OneStory is a video storytelling platform that empowers ordinary people to capture personal stories about love, war, travel, conquering cancer, or any life topic. An easy-to-navigate interview process collects individual clips and assembles them into a beautiful compilation video, making it easy to share online.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dale Zak is an internationally recognized developer (his last project was an app for the UN), and Katrina German was nominated for a national DigiAward for a social media campaign that she ran which reached 2.5 million people. Now they have combined forces to create and distribute OneStory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cCanada\u2019s economic future relies on the success of local businesses and OneStory brings forward ingenuity, creativity and value to the community of Saskatoon,\u201d says Taunya Woods-Richardson, Director for CYBF Saskatchewan. \u201cIt is so encouraging to see Saskatchewan entrepreneurs shine, and represent our province so well on the global stage. Working with Dale and Katrina over the past year serves as a reminder that all business stem from a simple seed of an idea.  Our role as a community is to help nurture and encourage those seeds to grow, evolve and blossom,\u201d she adds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The evening is expected to be fun-filled with a performance by local musician Jeans Boots, along with opportunities for attendees to test run the new mobile app. OneStory is very appreciative of everyone who has supported them in realizing their dream and look forward to celebrating their success alongside their community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
