To celebrate [engage]\u2019s support for youth entrepreneurship and commitment&nbsp; in assisting CYBF, an official partnership launch luncheon will be held on Thursday&nbsp; May 26, from 11:30-1:00pm at the Holiday Inn on 67 Street, Red Deer.<strong> <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>CYBF, Canada\u2019s go-to place for youth&nbsp; entrepreneurship, relies on its Community Partners (CP) to act as local&nbsp; representatives in their communities. CPs offer guidance and resources to&nbsp; budding entrepreneurs in the business planning stage and beyond. CPs bring&nbsp; together Loan Review Committees to support the selection of young entrepreneurs&nbsp; for CYBF programs and they enlist the help of community business leaders to&nbsp; volunteer as mentors. Together, CYBF and CPs work to ensure young, passionate&nbsp; entrepreneurs have the tools and resources they need to be successful in Canada&nbsp; and beyond.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe are pleased to be working with&nbsp; [engage], a volunteer-driven group of current and future business leaders in&nbsp; Red Deer, to promote youth entrepreneurship,\u201d said Christi Millar, Director, CYBF&nbsp; Alberta. \u201c[engage] volunteers understand the importance, the challenges and the&nbsp; opportunities associated with starting and running a business because many of&nbsp; them are entrepreneurs themselves. Through this partnership, we look forward to&nbsp; reaching out to young entrepreneurs in central Alberta to help them start a&nbsp; business and contribute to the economic development of their communities.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201c[engage] is very excited to work with&nbsp; CYBF,\u201d said Tyler Bowman, Vice President, [engage]. \u201cThe goals of CYBF align&nbsp; perfectly with [engage]&#8217;s mandate to support young professionals and&nbsp; entrepreneurs in central Alberta. We are happy to be promoting CYBF\u2019s programs&nbsp; and taking part in the loan review process at a local level.\u201d [engage] strives&nbsp; to develop the skills, knowledge and networks of young professionals in central&nbsp; Alberta by offering relevant and informative events, presentations and courses.&nbsp; It joins the roster of the more than 170 CYBF Community Partners in cities&nbsp; within all 13 Canadian provinces and territories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Economic development in Red Deer has a&nbsp; significant impact on Alberta\u2019s economy as a whole. To support aspiring young&nbsp; entrepreneurs in this city, CYBF will also begin hosting a six-part business&nbsp; planning workshop series, starting on May 28th, to give them the&nbsp; tools they need to start their own businesses.
