CALGARY, AB \u2013 May 25, 2011 \u2013<\/strong> The Canadian Youth Business  Foundation (CYBF) and the Government of Alberta are working together to promote  entrepreneurship in Alberta and assisting young entrepreneurs, ages 18-34, who  are starting new businesses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

By  offering business planning workshops and resources, CYBF and the Government of  Alberta are raising awareness about the importance of entrepreneurship across  the province and are also educating Albertans on how to start their own  businesses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cCYBF is very pleased to be working  with the Government of Alberta to support young entrepreneurs on the journey  towards establishing successful businesses,\u201d said Vivian Prokop, CYBF Chief  Executive Officer. \u201cHelping young entrepreneurs promotes healthy competition in  the marketplace and means more jobs will be created as these new businesses  grow.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Current and future entrepreneurs are invited  to participate in a six-part Business Plan Workshop Series, hosted by CYBF and  proudly supported by the Government of Alberta, to learn more about starting  and growing a new business.
