TORONTO \u2013 March 4, 2011<\/strong> \u2013 Today, the Canadian Youth Business Foundation (CYBF) will leverage its tremendously successful 15-year track record in building Canada\u2019s next generation of entrepreneurs by participating in a unique venture to formally mentor the newly developed Youth Business America (YBA) in its start-up phase.<\/p>\n\n\n\n California-based YBA will represent the U.S. within The Prince\u2019s Youth Business International (YBI) worldwide network of youth entrepreneurship programs operating in 35 countries. As a seasoned member, CYBF occupies a key role in the YBI network, founded in 2000 by HRH The Prince of Wales. Accenture, a global management consulting, technology services and outsourcing company, has joined forces with YBI and CYBF on this initiative.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The \u201cbest of breed\u201d training is anticipated to provide YBA with an intensive learning opportunity from the mature and successful CYBF as the basis to lay an early and solid foundation which will be critical in the facilitation of YBA\u2019s planned expansion across the U.S.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cWe are honoured to have been asked to mentor the Youth Business America program,\u201d says Vivian Prokop, chief executive officer of the Canadian Youth Business Foundation. \u201cWith our in-depth expertise, growth and success ratios in advancing entrepreneurship in Canada, we have built a globally-recognized model and are able to share valuable knowledge and IP with our American neighbours.
