Strong relationships a priority for Futurpreneur Canada’s new Corporate and Public Affairs Department

With the entrepreneurial world continuously changing and evolving, the demand for Futurpreneur Canada’s services is growing and it requires us to build new and stronger funder and strategic partnerships. Due to this demand, Futurpreneur Canada has made a shift in departments and staffing to help better support this need.

We have now introduced a Corporate and Public Affairs Department within our organization which is being led by Marsha Josephs, the Vice-President, Corporate and Public Affairs. Previously, Marsha held the role of Director, Government Relations at Futurpreneur Canada. Beth Dea, our former Director, Programs has taken on the position of Senior Director, Strategic Partnerships.

Marsha and her team will ensure that Futurpreneur Canada builds and leverages partnerships while cultivating thought leadership around youth entrepreneurship. They will work closely with our regional team members across Canada to support regional and local relationships.

In Futurpreneur Canada’s recent consultations with more than 1,000 entrepreneurs and other leaders through our Action Entrepreneurship initiative, participants called for more coordination between organizations supporting young entrepreneurs, and made other recommendations that will require strong cross-sector collaboration and partnerships. Futurpreneur Canada’s new Corporate and Public Affairs Department is dedicated to building these relationships with funders and partners to ensure we are meeting the needs of young entrepreneurs as effectively as possible.
