• A minimum of 5 years of entrepreneurial experience in the last 15 years.
• Willing and available to work with an entrepreneur for four hours per month over two years.
• Must be located in Canada.

Required intrapreneur* experience

• A minimum of 15 years experience in a corporate environment.
• In the past 15 years, has led the creation and launch of a significant service or product and succeeded in rallying support and resources to sustain them.
• Willing and available to work with an entrepreneur for four hours per month over two years.
• Must be located in Canada.

* An intrapreneur is an employee who uses entrepreneurial skills within a company to turn an idea or project into a viable venture for the business.

What if I have no experience mentoring an entrepreneur?

We can help you with that too. As a Futurpreneur mentor, you will receive comprehensive support and training, including:

• Mentorship onboarding: Official onboarding including video and training materials.
• Mentoring orientation: Our custom designed program “Ment2B” sets you up for a successful mentor and mentee experience.
• Mentor webinars: Connect frequently with our network of volunteer mentors and Futurpreneur team to discuss and share ideas.

• Active check-ins: Our Mentor Support Team regularly checks-in with you to ensure your mentoring relationship is progressing well.
